About the role We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversight to our Esperance centre. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the clinical integrity and alignment of services, while providing day-to-day support and supervision to a passionate multidisciplinary team.
This leadership role will suit a dynamic and compassionate mental health professional with a deep understanding of youth mental health, a commitment to clinical governance, and the ability to drive quality service delivery in a regional context.
About the practice We’re a passionate team of Psychologists, Social Workers, a Youth Worker, Community Engagement Officer, and a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Our Lead Agency also runs the Goldfields Community Alcohol & Drug Service in town. As the only youth-focused mental health service in the region, we support young people through counselling, case management, brief interventions, group programs, and outreach.
Being a newer service in a regional location, there’s lots of variety in the role, it’s a unique chance to make a real impact and build broad experience across youth mental health.
Experience and qualifications required
Tertiary qualification and registration as a mental health clinician (e.g., Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse)
Relevant professional body registration (AHPRA, AASW) and mental health-specific training or endorsement
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
Experience providing clinical supervision, conducting assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions to young people with moderate to severe mental health concerns
Understanding of mental health and SEWB care for First Nations young people
Ability to embed clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks
