The Role

Administer the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 as an Inspector of Mines. Support safety reform, continuous improvement and change management approaches. Contribute to implementation of best practice standards and achievement of Group Operational Plan. Conduct audits, inspections, and report on working places and practices related to the electrical aspects in mining operations and conduct technical reviews. Undertake investigations and report on electrical aspects of incidents in mining operations and appear at inquiries and inquests of incidents related to mining accidents.

Qualifications & Licenses

* A tertiary vocational or trade qualification in a relevant electrical engineering discipline or qualification as a WA electrician with an appropriate license.
* Current Western Australian C or C‐A class driver's license or equivalent.
