Our Wig and Headwear Service aims to assist individuals with the side-effects of hair loss as a result of their cancer treatment.
As a volunteer you will provide people with the information they need about the service, styling and fitting wigs and, where appropriate, give people the opportunity to talk about their experiences and concerns.
Responsibilities
Provide support, information, and styling assistance for wig and headwear fitting.
What we're looking for

Experience as a hairdresser or experience in wig and headwear fitting is highly regarded but not essential.

Training
The CCQ Practical Support Volunteer Induction Training and one session of the CCQ Cancer Support Volunteer Refresher. Training annually thereafter. You will also be buddied with an experienced Wig and Headwear Service volunteer who will assist with practical onboarding and training.
