Your new role

We’re searching for experienced and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to assist older clients in the community. You’ll play a key role in helping clients remain independent in their own homes, supporting their dignity, safety, and quality of life. Shifts are available Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm, and you’ll have a regular part‑time roster with opportunities to pick up more hours based on client needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing personal care support such as showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Supporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Assisting with shopping, medical appointments, and social outings
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client’s health or behaviour, escalating concerns to ensure safety
- Delivering care in line with individual Care Plans and maintaining accurate documentation
- Travelling between client homes within your local service area including Bondi, Maroubra, Rosebery, Kingsford, Randwick

What You’ll Bring

- Current driver’s licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality care
- Flexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needs
- Ability to review and accurately document care plans
- Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous)
