Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized electrical engineer with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design of LV electrical equipment and distribution systems, process instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing engineering calculations such as maximum demand, protection discrimination, cable sizing, and network modeling
* Project Engineering functions such as the preparation of project documentation including project specifications, scope of works documents, and functional descriptions
* Liaison with other discipline engineers to ensure that our designs are fully integrated and compliant with client and project specific requirements
* Supporting Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Liaison and negotiation with clients, authorities, suppliers, and sub-consultants as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A bachelor degree qualification in electrical engineering (degree recognized by Engineers Australia) with a maximum of 3 years postgraduate experience
* Excellent communication skills in English
* The ability to demonstrate a high level of technical aptitude and writing skills
* Ability to work both independently and in a team
* A strong willingness to learn
* Excellent work ethic with an attention to detail and desire to produce high-quality deliverables
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
