Salary: WHA4 $32.12 - $32.45 per hour + 25% casual loading
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team at the Residential Care Home in Keith. In this rewarding role, you will assist clients with personal care and daily activities, ensuring they receive the highest standard of comfort and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility support.
* Help with feeding, hydration, and meal setup.
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment for clients.
* Support clients with special needs and participate in leisure activities.
* Assist with self‐administration of medication and document observations.
* Contribute to meal service and cleaning duties.
* Build positive relationships with clients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Aged Care or similar qualification.
* Proven experience in providing direct care in aged, frail, or disabled care settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to delivering high‐quality care.
* Physical ability to meet the role's demands and a commitment to safety and confidentiality.
* Basic knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Elder Abuse Reporting.
