Salaried GP - Bugbrooke Medical PracticeThe practice is looking for a salaried GP to join our team of currently 2 salaried GPs and 4 Partners.
The position will involve 6 sessions per week on a permanent contract.
Main duties of the job
Undertake 15-minute face-to-face appointments with patients for routine and urgent problems.
Act as Duty Doctor on occasion to assist with triage and ad-hoc appointments with urgent patients.
Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards, including appropriate quality and outcome framework (QOF) data.
Provide occasional home visits.
Use SystemOne clinical system in conjunction with Rapid Health AI online booking system.
Park on site.
Job description and responsibilities
Face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations and home visits as required.
Triage, checking and signing prescriptions, and dealing with queries in a timely fashion.
Contribute to QOF requirements and record data appropriately.
Assist Care Coordinators where required.
Develop care plans for health-related illnesses.
Work across teams to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Screen patients for health education.
Collect data for audit purposes.
Person Specification
GMC registered with a licence to practice.
Fully qualified GP on the GP performers list.
Recent experience of working in primary care.
Evidence of up-to-date appraisal.
Interest in Women's Health (desirable).
