The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.
Opportunity
As an Executive Assistant you will provide high‐level executive support to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities
* Deliver confidential executive support, including complex diary and e‐mail management, correspondence screening, and ensuring responsive, high‐quality stakeholder communication.
* Coordinate and prepare executive materials such as briefings, correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes and meeting documentation, ensuring readiness for decision‐making and follow‐up actions.
* Manage information and workflow systems, including record keeping, tracking databases and file management, to monitor progress and ensure timely responses across the Directorate.
* Provide administrative and operational coordination, including travel arrangements, invoice processing, committee support and general office functions.
* Support projects and stakeholder engagement by maintaining project files, assisting with reports and presentations and fostering effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Details
There are currently one permanent position and one fixed‐term full‐time position available for 3 months with possibility of extension.
