Role Summary
As a Service HVAC Technician at Johnson Controls, you will maintain and service the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for clients in the Brisbane area. This full‐time role is based in our Brisbane branch and involves on‐site work at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial HVAC systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues to identify root cause and implement effective solutions.
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
* Install new HVAC equipment and components as required.
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed and equipment serviced.
* Collaborate with the wider HVAC team to share knowledge and best practices.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
* Formal qualifications in HVAC, air conditioning, or refrigeration (e.g., Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
* QLD Restricted Electrical License or higher.
* Demonstrated experience as a service or maintenance technician, preferably within the HVAC industry.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel to client sites.
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
