WFA Employment Consultant - Inala at APM Employment Services
Location: Inala, Qld
As a Workforce Australia Employment Consultant at APM, you will play a pivotal role in supporting participants (job seekers) to transform their lives. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with employers and participants to deliver tailored employment solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
- Establish and maintain relationships with job seekers to understand goals, barriers, and aspirations, and develop tailored Job Plans that align with individual needs and programme requirements
- Conduct regular face-to-face appointments to monitor progress, provide motivation, and facilitate access to upskilling opportunities (accredited training and short courses)
- Deliver practical support including CV writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies, ensuring compliance with mutual obligation requirements and participation reporting
- Engage employers through outreach and labour market insights to uncover opportunities, present candidates’ strengths, and negotiate job trials, placements, and wage subsidies
- Collaborate with internal teams to match candidates to vacancies, and maintain employer relationships through regular follow-up and database management
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for compliance, audits, and claims processing; manage appointment scheduling, KPI tracking, and professional communications
- Uphold programme guidelines through diligent record-keeping and active participation in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyGovID (Standard level)
- Willing to complete a National Police Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
