As we prepare to launch our third Stretch RAP in early 2026, we’re looking for an Indigenous Engagement Advisor to help deliver on our commitments and create meaningful change.

This role is about more than compliance—it’s about connection, cultural respect, and impact. You’ll work across the business to embed cultural capability, strengthen partnerships, and support employment pathways that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead RAP Initiatives: Lead priority actions under our Stretch RAP, ensuring initiatives are understood and embedded across the business.
- Cultural Learning: Increase the organisation’s awareness, respect, and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge, and rights by providing guidance on cultural learning initiatives and events like NAIDOC and Reconciliation Week.
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owners, client representatives, and community organisations to create sustainable partnerships.
- Employment Pathways: Coach and mentor Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and identify new opportunities for recruitment and retention.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with operational managers and People teams to support Indigenous employees and to bring local engagement initiatives to life.
- Governance & Reporting: Track progress against RAP commitments and contribute to reporting for leadership and the RAP Committee .
- Advocacy & Influence: Champion reconciliation internally and externally, promoting Monadelphous’ support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

What you’ll bring:

- Passion: A genuine commitment to reconciliation and creating positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience: Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and businesses in an engagement or advisory capacity.
- Teamwork: You thrive working in a broad team environment - whether it's your immediate team or collaborating across the business to achieve shared goals
- Leadership: Ability to navigate multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
- Eligibility: Proof of right to work in Australia.
