Junior Project Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a skilled Junior Project Manager with a thirst for knowledge and the motivation to quickly progress into a Project Management position.
Our client is a agile and creative construction company specialising in commercial new build and fit out projects within Health, Defence, Office, Retail and Hospitality. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality results, we are looking to assist them in expanding their team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior project managers and site managers to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Assist in procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
About you
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite; Procore and Jobpac.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Knowledge of commercial recent build and fit out processes and construction methodologies is a plus.
