About the role

We're seeking an experienced and confident Operations Coordinator to join our Austral Masonry manufacturing plant at Yatala, QLD. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Plant Manager and Plant Supervisors to assist in the smooth running of operations at the site. This includes coordinating and reporting on data and activities across production, safety, environmental, and procurement areas.

Responsibilities
* Support production and operational reporting by maintaining accurate data across key systems and databases, including production results, raw materials usage, wages, weekly profit estimates, and recovery reporting.
* Maintain the integrity of production and operational databases, ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and fit for reporting purposes.
* Manage purchasing activities by raising purchase orders for consumables, scheduled monthly requirements, and plant improvement items in line with site needs.
* Coordinate accounts payable processes by receiving goods, matching delivery documentation, and processing supplier invoices for approval and payment.
* Monitor and maintain invoice processing performance, ensuring KPI targets are met.
* Oversee stock levels of PPE and site consumables, ensuring adequate supply and timely replenishment.
* Support stocktake processes, including preparation, coordination, and accurate entry and reconciliation of results.
* Provide general administrative support to the Production and Yard Manager/Supervisor as required to assist with day‐to‐day site operations.
Success Requirements
* Knowledge of WHS and environmental requirements (desirable).
* Previous experience in an administrative role.
* Knowledge of budgeting and reporting processes (desirable).
* Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse workforce.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, duties, and work hours as required.
