About the role:
Our Parts Interpreters provide accurate technical parts support to trade, industrial and mining customers, leveraging their expert automotive/mechanical knowledge. They assist customers with product information and advice, but also problem‐solve, provide solutions, and use sales techniques. Our customers benefit from the strong relationships they build and the exceptional customer service they provide.
Duties include:
* Interpret parts
* Process customer orders
* Efficiently dispatch products and parts
* Promote specials
* Arrange buy‐ins
* Process customer credits
* First point of contact for customers (in‐person and over the phone)
* Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
* Pick, pack, dispatch orders
* Meet deadlines
* Customer service
* Assist the team where needed
* Storeroom organisation and safety
Who we're looking for:
* Parts interpreting "know how" (technical parts knowledge)
* Passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
* Confidence in sharing their 'know how' and ability to communicate knowledge in a way the customer can understand
* Solution focused / problem solver
* Sound computer skills
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced and dynamic environment as part of a high‐performing team
* Conscious of workplace safety at all times
* Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching (preferred)
* High level of accuracy / attention to detail
* A current driver's licence
* Physical capacity to lift up to 20 kg
* Willing to learn
