About The Role
Schlam Payload is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Project & Quality Coordinator to join our Muswellbrook team.
This is a key role supporting the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strict quality standards while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Key role responsibilities include:
* Coordinate projects from purchase order through to delivery.
* Maintain and manage project documentation, including tracking risks, issues, and deliverables.
* Support communication across internal and external teams and stakeholders.
* Conduct quality checks, audits, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
* Identify and manage non-conformances, supporting corrective and preventive actions.
* Prepare progress reports and track milestones, variations, and performance metrics.
* Prepare handovers to internal stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records, job packs and documentation for builds and rebuilds.
* Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You're a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.
* Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or similar (desirable).
* Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience (desirable).
* Prior experience in a project coordination, administration or quality-focused role.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
* Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; Project desirable).
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
