We are seeking an experienced Store Associate to support warehouse operations in Karratha. This role is pivotal in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to strict warehouse safety protocols.
About the Role:
* Continuously develop and nurture a culture of behavioral-based safety within the organization.
* Participate in regular audits, inspections, safety meetings, and company-sponsored safety programs as required.
* Ensure that relevant employees, contractors, and visitors adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Management System requirements and safety policies.
* Understand and apply relevant Safe Operating Procedures, with a focus on improving safety processes and initiatives.
* Pick and label orders accurately.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
* Execute MDE transactions effectively.
* Proficiently use equipment necessary for the role (e.g. cranes & forklifts).
* Understand receiving (including accurate inward goods receipting) and dispatch processes.
* Stay updated on SAP system knowledge.
* Help protect products from loss or damage.
* Report short/nil stock items against orders promptly.
* Loading trucks according to customer and OneSteel requirements.
* Support DIFOT programs and work practices.
* Assist customers / resolve retail sales queries and quality issues as needed.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer literacy and proficiency in SAP.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
