About the role
Join our team to support an adult client with complex behavioural needs, providing compassionate assistance with daily routines and emotional wellbeing.
* Provide one-on-one support in the client's home and community
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, household tasks, and meal preparation
* Support the client in managing emotions and building routines through consistent and compassionate care
* Promote independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of support
* Work collaboratively with a team and follow individual support plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care
About you
* Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt approaches to match individual expressive and receptive abilities
* Skilled in providing structure and predictability through clear routines, step-by-step guidance, and preparation for transitions
* Ability to support engagement in physical, outdoor, and recreational activities tailored to individual interests
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to de-escalate situations when individuals are overwhelmed or overstimulated
* Full and unrestricted Australian Driver's License
