This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a clinical background and 8–10 years of industry experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services through strong operational execution.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct operational leadership across all aspects of the nursing agency, ensuring efficient service delivery and workforce management.Lead and manage daily clinical and administrative operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.Manage and optimise staffing, workforce planning and talent acquisition to meet client needs.Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, aged care facilities and key stakeholders.Drive business growth through client engagement, service expansion and operational efficiencies.Ensure high standards of patient care, staff performance and customer satisfaction.Monitor financial performance, budgeting and cost management to achieve sustainability and profitability.Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.Implement quality assurance and risk management strategies to maintain a safe and effective service.Key Selection Criteria:Registered Nurse (RN) qualification .
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the healthcare or nursing agency industry, with senior leadership experience.Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Australian healthcare sector.Proven ability to manage operations, workforce planning and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting and business growth strategies.Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills.Ability to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and strategic initiatives.Experience working in a regional or rural healthcare setting (highly desirable).
