About the role
Based in Tom Price and reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the service team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand. This challenging and diverse role offers a variety of work, both on and off the tools. This position is available on a FIFO 8 x 6 roster or 2 x 1 roster.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability and reliability.
* Lead and mentor the team in their day‐to‐day activities.
* Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements.
* Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan.
* Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available.
* Lead safety culture and compliance for the team and branch.
* Conduct equipment servicing and repairs.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in leading teams (directly or indirectly) and managing service demand.
* Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to problem‐solve and be flexible.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage cost in line with budgets.
