Role: Road Freight PlannerLocation: TamworthSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Super + BonusGrainCorp helps connect rural communities with food, animal feed, and industrial customers around the world as we lead in sustainable agriculture.OverviewThis is an opportunity to play a part in GrainCorp's supply chain story by planning all operational aspects, including contract and order management, scheduling, timeslots, and road freight provider management.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute freight scheduling to meet current and future demand of internal stakeholders and customersManage third-party bulk handling networks and/or ex-farm execution ordersPerform administration for customer order execution, including delivery confirmations and reconciliations when requiredEngage in execution planning activities, including vehicle management, cost monitoring, delivery tracking, and review of load plans with clients for campaignsMaintain master data in systems for contractors, sites, customers and order processingExperience and qualificationsCandidates will have prior administrative experience, ideally in logistics or supply chain.
Technical skills should include intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and technologies.
