**About the role**
The Logistics Coordinator will be directly reporting to International freight and logistics manager and responsible for providing key support to the day-to-day logistics as well as some purchasing functions for the company in Australia and international markets. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders including freight forwarders, customs offices, suppliers, stores team, production and engineering.
- Handling of all bookings including coordinating internal and external delivery schedules to ensure business needs are met.
- Plan and coordinate road, sea and air freight for international and domestic shipments.
- Actively work with service providers to improve delivery performance.
- Generate all shipping paperwork including assisting with customs clearance and commercial paperwork.
- Liaise with internal staff as necessary to gather information and complete all necessary documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and external stakeholders (locally and internationally) in relation to shipping requirements and documentation.
- Provide timely advice of stock movements and shipping schedules to end customers.
- Analyse and coordinate most cost/time effective means and method of transport to customer.
- Manage timely delivery of all shipments to agreed schedules.
- Manage external storage for whole goods.
**About You**
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in logistics or similar would be beneficial
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent, written and verbal communication skills.
