About the Role
As a Mechanical Apprentice, you will play a vital part in maintaining and improving our automated systems. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your mechanical aptitude and gain hands-on experience working on electrical and mechanical systems.
About You
You should have a strong interest in mechanical engineering and be comfortable working with computers. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively collaborate with your team members. Additionally, you must be physically fit and able to work at heights.
Responsibilities
This role will involve preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, including fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems. You will also assist your team to ensure maximum system availability for our customers. This may involve tasks ranging from general flow control to working with onsite automation specialists.
How You Will Develop
You will work towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving the way of working and our processes on site. This is an ongoing process that requires a keen interest in personal development and a passion for safety culture.
