The Department of Justice, Corrective Services in Western Australia are establishing a Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Rehabilitation and Reintegration Service for adults and young people in custody and the community who present as a risk of Violent Extremism (VE), and/or are vulnerable to radicalisation to VE. The primary objective is to establish and deliver dedicated services to monitor and address risks associated with managing high risk extremist offenders.
This position will manage and provide oversight of the Program, including leading the development of the service-delivery framework, manage operations, oversee clinical assessments and interventions, and assist in the development of clinical governance frameworks.
The Principal Manager - CVE will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop an understanding of best practice for assessing, managing and addressing extremist offenders in custody and will provide expertise and specialist advice and services.
Pay: $141,344.00 - $151,091.00 per year
