Job Description

The Examination Administrator* plays a key role in supporting the Australian Defence Force recruitment process by coordinating and delivering both online and in‐person assessment sessions. This includes preparing and supervising examinations, managing candidate records, interpreting results for stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with strict policies and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a client‐focused approach to guide candidates through each stage efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service and care.

Responsibilities

* Organise, prepare and supervise examination sessions in accordance with established standards, ensuring consistency in practices nationally.
* Interpret assessment results of candidates and ensure relevant information is available to psychologists and stakeholders.
* Manage and maintain psychology administrative records and test materials in accordance with strict policy guidelines.
* Work across multiple platforms, actively listening and actioning requests.
* Prioritise workload to meet targets and move candidates through examination processes, ensuring excellent candidate care and a successful enlistment intake.
* Meet all internal training requirements of an Examination Administrator as required by industry and/or the ADF.
* Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Candidate Profile

* Understanding of defence or defence industry is desirable.
* Experience balancing administrative deadlines and working under pressure.
* Computer literacy and experience in data entry with high attention to detail.
* Ability to follow strict policies and processes to meet quality specifications.
* Client‐focused and customer‐centric attitude and aptitude.
* Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills.
* Australian citizen with ability to maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance.
