We have two exciting opportunities available:
HP3 Radiographer – Rural Development Pathway
This position offers a structured development pathway designed to support your transition into a senior HP4 role.You'lljoin a supportive team and complete an intensive development plan while delivering high-quality medical imaging services to the Charters Towers community. Upon successful completion,you'llprogress into a senior HP4 role, providing complex and responsive CT and X-ray services.
HP4 SeniorRadiographer
As a Senior Radiographer,you'llplay a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across CT and general X-ray.You'llwork with a committed and collaborative team, applying advanced clinical skills and professional judgement to support diagnostic accuracy, radiation safety, and service excellence.You'llalso contribute to education and knowledge sharing within the department.

About the Team
The Rural Allied Health Western Hub, part of the Allied Health Service Division, is based in Charters Towers and supports surrounding rural communities. With the introduction of CT services inMay ****, the unit is expanding its capabilities to deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical imaging. These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a vital regional healthcare service and be part of a team committed to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in rural health.

Role Requirements(HP3 & HP4)
Tertiary qualificationin Medical Imaging Technology
Registration with AHPRA and current annual practising certificate
Eligibility for Queensland radiation licence
Additional Requirement for HP3 Radiographer – Rural Development Pathway
Participation in theHP3 to HP4Rural Development Pathway and completion of allrequired development activities within the Intensive Development Plan.
