About the role
The Group Travel Manager is the face of the FCM Meetings & Events Group Travel Team to a broad mix of customers. Group Travel Managers must have an ultimate customer‐centric mindset and always demonstrate solution‐based thinking. Effective communication and relationship building skills are key to ensuring our corporate customers always receive an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
* Show expertise in corporate travel product knowledge to deliver the best outcome for the customer and FCM M&E.
* Assist in the budgeting and execution of professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations.
* Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in sourcing products, quoting, making travel arrangements, ticketing, ticket exchanges/changes and CRS/GDS productivity.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.
* Exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
* Demonstrate project management skills and adaptability to changing work environments and stakeholder requirements.
* Work as a team member or individual to complete all related project functions related to servicing the client.
* Maintain favorable working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrate a proactive approach in providing solutions to complex logistical challenges.
* Show expertise in fares and complex itineraries, amazing attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
* Be based in North Sydney or Perth.
Qualifications & Skills
* GDS: SABRE – essential.
* Microsoft Office skills – specifically Excel – essential.
* Major airline group booking platforms – experience preferred.
* Event Management Technology – Events Air/Cvent experience preferred.
* Previous Group Travel / MICE experience – 3 years preferred.
* Previous experience in customer‐facing roles.

* First Year OTE $90,000 – $100,000 (comprising $55,000 base + uncapped monthly incentives) + super.
