About The NDIS Quality And Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission)
The NDIS Commission is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 that serves as the national regulator for NDIS service providers in Australia. It works with participants, providers, workers and the community to ensure that participants have choice, control and dignity when accessing high‐quality supports and services in safe environments. For more information, visit the Commission's website.
About The Data And Regulatory Transformation (DART) Program
The DART Program, part of the NDIS Commission, is delivering a major uplift to the Commission's digital and data systems and tools. By enabling better identification of participant and provider interactions, earlier detection of risk and faster regulatory action, DART strengthens safeguarding for NDIS participants, enhances regulation of providers and workers, and reduces unnecessary regulatory burden. Cyber‐security and the protection of personal and sensitive information are also key focus areas.
