This marks another key milestone in Forrestania's transition toward gold production, ahead of the planned commissioning of the Lake Johnston plant later this year.
Forrestania Resources is seeking an experienced Technical Report Writer – Exploration & Compliance to support the preparation and submission of high-quality statutory and technical reports across its growing portfolio of Western Australian gold projects.
This role is an opportunity to join Forrestania at a pivotal stage as the Company advances from exploration to producer. Initially the role will be offered 3 days a week as a casual with a view to review in the near term at our West Perth offices.
The role will focus on compiling accurate, well-structured documentation for annual tenement reporting, technical submissions, combined group reporting and broader compliance requirements, while working closely with geology, environment and project development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, compile and review technical and statutory reports for exploration, resource development and mining projects.
Coordinate and submit key regulatory documentation, including combined Group Reports, Annual Technical and compliance reports.
Collate, interpret and present geological, exploration and environmental data from internal teams and external consultants.
Ensure all reports are prepared in accordance with DMIRS and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintain reporting schedules and assist with compliance tracking across a growing project portfolio.
Produce clear maps, figures, appendices and supporting material for technical submissions.
Liaise with geologists, environmental consultants, project managers and operational personnel to gather and verify technical information.
Support tenure, compliance and reporting activities as Forrestania continues to expand its Western Australian gold asset base.
Criteria
* Tertiary qualification or strong background in exploration geology or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience preparing technical, statutory or regulatory reports within the mining and exploration industry.
* Strong technical writing, document control and information management skills.
* Sound understanding of Western Australian mining tenement reporting and compliance requirements.
* Experience in environmental compliance, approvals or related reporting functions.
* Familiarity with industry systems and tools, including EMITS, GeoVIEW.WA, Tengraph, QGIS.
* Experience working with DMIRS reporting systems and statutory compliance processes.
* GIS and mapping capability, with the ability to prepare clear supporting visuals for reports and submissions.
