Carpenter Wanted – Subcontractor or Wages | Light Gauge Steel Framing
We are seeking an experienced and reliable carpenter skilled in light gauge steel framing to lead a small team of 2 to 4 installers. This role suits someone who can work fast, clean, and to a high standard across residential or commercial projects.
Position Options:
• Subcontractor (ABN required, strong rates, weekly pay)
• Full-Time Wages (above-award rates with performance bonuses)
Work Involves:
• Carpentry in light gauge steel framing
• First fix installation
• Leading a team of 2 to 4
• Residential or commercial framing projects
• Working within a small, efficient crew
• Immediate start with consistent workload
Requirements:
• Proven carpentry experience, preferably in LGSF
• White Card
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Strong work ethic, leadership ability, and reliability
• 3-5 years of carpentry experience required
• Previous team leadership experience preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience is required for this position.
Previous team leadership experience is preferred for managing installation teams.
