We are a Kitchen manufacturing business in need of an experienced Purchasing Manager,
EXPERIENCE required
- Review and process purchase orders.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Schedule deliveries and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
- Coordinate with relevant staff members to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
- Ensure quality of items and addresses problems when they arise.
- Using MYOB (highly regarded) or other similar software package.
- 5 plus years in purchasing experience ideally in a building or manufacturing industry.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best terms for the business.
Ideally, your background will include experience in effecting procurement management systems within complex manufacturing environment.
Must have/be
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and written skills, a mature & professional attitude and have attention to detail.
