Position: Advanced Child Care Worker
Full time, maximum term contract until 10 September 2027, 8:00am-4:00pm.
Location: Bishop Tyrrell Preschool, Fletcher, NSW. Salary $33.84‐$35.80 per hour.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Advanced Child Care Worker to join our Preschool at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College. As an integral part of the Preschool, you will support the educational journeys of children in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.
* Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the Preschool Director to provide a high‐quality program for all children.
* Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Preschool Director.
Essential Criteria
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
* Current First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training.
* Previous experience as a Child Care Worker within an education and care setting and experience in contributing to an educational program.
* Ability to work cooperatively within a team context.
* Ability to multi‐task.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Professional and personal integrity.
* High standard of organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Valid Working with Children Check and completion of National Police Check.
