About the role
Working closely with our Clinical Manager, you'll provide clinical leadership to a dedicated team of Nurses and Personal Care Assistants by mentoring, guiding, and setting the standard for high-quality, person-centred care each day.This is a substantive leadership position, not just a senior floor nurse role. You'll be involved in:
* Overseeing resident assessments, care planning, and documentation in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Managing complex wound care and coordinating allied health referrals
* Supporting audits, quality improvement programs, and compliance activity
* Driving infection control and clinical governance excellence
* Contributing to staff education, onboarding, and performance support
* Participating in clinical meetings focused on improving resident outcomes
What you'll bring
* Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
* Minimum two years' experience in a senior nursing role within residential aged care
* Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills
* Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct, and Charter of Aged Care Rights
* Current National Police Check and valid Open Driver's Licence
* Working knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded)
