The Opportunity
Talented, outgoing and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a highly competitive sales environment. The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in increasing customer satisfaction through responsive interface for sales enquiries, supporting Sales with key tasks including tenders and quotations and act as a fundamental part of the complete Sales team in meeting business revenue growth objectives across multiple market segments.
Responsibilities
* Support turning Sales leads into opportunities with the sales team such as following up outstanding quotations as directed by the sales manager.
* Quote generation and tender preparation.
* Support existing customers and partners with product, quote and order enquiries.
* Support the sales engineering team with administrative and coordination activities.
* Develop relationships with customers through understanding their requirements and ongoing needs.
* Identify Sales Opportunities through cold calling or follow up as directed by the sales manager.
* Support sales team in creation of documentation related to account plans, pipeline review, forecast review, CRM and revenue and other misc. reports as required.
* Support sales marketing activities (in cooperation with Marketing) as required including customer events and promotional activities.
* Supporting the sales team with CRM and other sales and quotation tools on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with business objectives.
* Support management in preparation of reports/presentations for the management team
* Support customer visits to the office, showroom and test facility.
* Other ad hoc duties as required or directed by management
Qualifications
Job Experience
* Preferred: Inside sales experience 2+ years
* OR 2+ yearsTechnical experience with electrical products
* Graduates will be considered for strong candidates
Technical/ Professional skills
* Clear understanding of business dynamics and drivers
* Clear understanding of quotation and tendering administration
* Admin tasks including phone manner
* Basic technical knowledge of electrical equipment
* Sales/marketing experience
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong attention to detail with good problem solving capabilities
* Ability to operate in a fast paced sales environment
* Capable of working effectively with many overseas stakeholders
* Microsoft Office 365 tools. Specifically Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics
* Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision
* Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
* Tendering and project management portals such as Aconex
