We are partnering with a prominent organisation in the insurance sector to secure a Delivery Lead for a critical, high-visibility contract engagement. The business is currently navigating a broader agile transformation and is on the verge of launching a major new program of work. We are looking for an experienced delivery professional who can step in immediately, establish a strong delivery rhythm, and drive this initiative forward. Familiarity with retail or general insurance is required. An understanding of this regulatory landscape, product complexity, and market context will be important in enabling effective planning, sequencing, and capacity management. Logistics 6-month contract with possibility of extension Up to $1,400 per day (including super) Hybrid working model, 3 days in office Requirements Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role within complex technology or transformation environments Previous experience within insurance or general insurance environments Strong Jira and Confluence capability is essential, including delivery reporting, workflow management, dashboard visibility, and planning coordination Strong background in agile delivery frameworks, with the ability to operate across both strategic and hands-on delivery responsibilities Experience coordinating across multiple squads, business segments, and stakeholder groups within enterprise environments Confident facilitating agile ceremonies including scrum of scrums, planning sessions, retrospectives, and delivery forums Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build credibility quickly across both business and technology teams Comfortable managing ambiguity, shifting priorities, delivery dependencies, and competing timelines Strong commercial and delivery mindset, with the ability to challenge priorities, manage capacity discussions, and keep delivery outcomes front of mind Responsibilities Enable and support delivery across squads, crews, and leadership teams to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and aligned to business priorities Partner closely with Product Owners, Crew Leads, and senior stakeholders to coordinate planning, sequencing, and delivery alignment Drive visibility across delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and capacity through clear communication and reporting Facilitate and support agile ceremonies and planning activities across multiple squads and segments Support release planning, environment readiness, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth delivery outcomes Build strong working relationships across technology and business teams to improve collaboration and delivery confidence Establish and embed effective delivery rhythms within a growing and evolving transformation environment Use data and delivery insights to support prioritisation, decision making, and continuous improvement initiatives Act as a key connector between teams, leadership, and delivery streams to ensure alignment and momentum is maintained Benefits Collaborative and supportive culture with strong backing across the wider delivery function Exposure to enterprise-scale agile delivery and transformation initiatives Flexible hybrid working arrangement Strong extension potential for the right person based on performance and program demand Sound like you?
