We are seeking expressions of interest for Fuel Operators to join the team at the Amberley RAAF base, SEQLD, to support expanded operations.
The Role
Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the role will be based at the Edinburgh RAAF base, supporting multiple fuel installation sites in the region.
Defence Fuel Installations Operator (DFI Operator)
* Reporting to the OA, an operator will handle various operational and functional roles around the installation.
* Responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
* Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
* Ensure technical integrity of the fuel, including quality control sampling and testing.
* Experience in a similar environment (fuel or other high‐risk/hazardous processing environments) highly regarded.
What you will Need
* Defence specific training advantageous; provided if required.
* Valid Driver's Licence (HR or HC highly regarded).
* Safety mindset forefront of all activities.
* Currently hold or able to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
* Live locally or willing to relocate to Brisbane (close to Amberley RAAF Base).
