We are seeking a skilled web developer to join our company on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising our websites and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Code development and analysis: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, conduct code reviews, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
* Plugin management and updates: Oversee plugin stability, testing, and updates to ensure system compatibility.
* System stability and reporting: Monitor site performance and stability, preparing regular health and risk reports.
* Reactive support: Communicate issues clearly, prioritise fixes, and deliver sustainable solutions.
* Sprint project work: Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to deliver new features, improvements, and integrations.
* Process documentation and knowledge sharing: Maintain coding standards, document processes, and share learnings with the team.
* Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, digital, and brand stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
* UK crossover support: Participate in scheduled meetings or provide coverage during overlapping hours to support UK teams.
Requirements
* Strong technical foundation in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Vue, or similar technologies.
* Proficiency with WordPress/WooCommerce or equivalent e-commerce platforms.
* Experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, GraphQL) and workflow automation tools (Pipedream, Zapier).
* Skilled in analysing, debugging, and optimising code.
* Collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
* Ability to balance reactive support tasks with planned sprint work.
