Culinary Expert for Middle Eastern Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and passionate culinary professional with strong kitchen leadership and a proven background in middle eastern cuisine to join our growing establishment in Byron Bay.
* Prepare and cook all menu items according to established recipes, standards, and plating guides.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols for the workstation and equipment.
* Accurately measure and portion ingredients to specification, minimizing food waste at the station.
* Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking and reporting stock levels and ingredient needs to the supervisor.
* Review and understand incoming food orders and cooking instructions, paying close attention to any listed allergies or dietary restrictions.
The role requires minimum 2 years experience cooking authentic middle eastern cuisine, in-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients specific to the middle eastern menu, reliable punctuality and committed long-term employment. You will be working in a fast-paced small team environment where quality consistency and teamwork are key.
