We have a team of experienced consultants that analyse businesses financial and other farming data and lay out all the key metrics required to monitor and make sense of farming operations. We then look objectively at the key challenges and issues and work through them with clients. We consider how businesses can reduce costs, become leaner, improve profitability, and free up capital. Agvise can also provide clients with due diligence on acquisitions they may be considering.

About the Role
Working closely with a small team of agricultural consultants (in Perth, Merredin and Albany offices), you will provide key technical, financial and administrative support to the business. Your strong understanding of the agricultural industry, its terminology and key concepts will enable you to independently produce high-quality technical and financial reports. You will liaise with Consultants and work collaboratively with other team members to deliver the best results for our clients.
Key accountabilities will also include:
• Working closely with consultants to interpret and analyse technical agricultural and financial information, write detailed farm business summary reports and send to clients.
• Using your analytical skills to extract farm financial data from accounting software (Xero, Agrimaster & Phoenix) and prepare analytical reports in Excel and Word.
• Manage client's database records and contact lists.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of agricultural industry trends and developments.
• Completing all work within a reasonable time frame.
• Observing requirements of strict client confidentiality.
• Ensuring adequate communication and reporting to Directors and other team members.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Agribusiness Support Officer with a demonstrable general knowledge of broadacre farming systems and livestock enterprises, and experience in the preparation of farm budgets and farm business analysis. You will be highly proficient in the use of Office 365 programs and Adobe. You will also have knowledge on a range of different financial software systems including Xero, Agrimaster, or a similar accounting & budgeting program.
The successful applicant will be a professional, helpful and enthusiastic team member who is able to quickly and effectively read a situation and respond appropriately. They will have sound problem-solving skills including the ability to use their initiative, work independently and as part of a team, have high attention to detail and seek out efficiencies.
It would be desirable for you to have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (i.e. Business, Commerce, Agriculture), and/or experience gained in a support role in a rural banking, finance or accounting organisation.
