Job Title: Physiotherapist
Hunter Valley Private Hospital, located near Newcastle, seeks casual physiotherapy professionals for its allied health team. The role involves covering a caseload of inpatients and outpatients with various conditions.
* Conduct initial assessments, re-assessments, and discharge summaries to ensure the highest quality care.
* Deliver education sessions and monitor patients throughout treatment to achieve optimal results.
* Support the allied health team in providing high-quality clinical care to patients and families.
* Work collaboratively with the team to help patients meet their goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and treat patients with neurological, orthopaedic, amputee, and geriatric rehabilitation conditions.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Maintain accurate records and reports to track patient progress and outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
* Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment to provide comprehensive care.
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills to manage electronic medical records and communicate with stakeholders.
