About The Role
Barwon Health Mental Health Drug Alcohol Service delivers innovative, recovery‐focused services across community, acute and specialist programs, supporting individuals throughout their mental health journey.
This role is within the Adult Community Mental Health service, providing ongoing psychiatric care for consumers living in the community.
You will support continuity of care, working closely with consumers, families and care teams to promote recovery, independence and community connection.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a community setting
* Support long‐term recovery planning and relapse prevention
* Collaborate with community services and stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
* Compassionate and forward‐thinking Consultant Psychiatrist
* Holds Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
* Has experience in community mental health settings
* Values continuity of care and consumer‐centred practice
