We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities

* Maintain timely completion of tasks to meet client deadlines, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
* Familiarize yourself with SWMS, JSA, and permitting systems to optimize workflow efficiency.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically working in live carrier networks.
* Experience with working at heights and EWP is viewed favorably, as is single and ribbon splicing.
* Internal cabling and conduiting skills in commercial and residential properties are essential.
* You will be responsible for preparing and splicing optic fibre cables in internal and external enclosures and frames.
* Able to read and interpret network plans and drawings accurately.
* Test and commission links according to customer requirements.
* Knowledge of NBN DFN and LFN infrastructure is mandatory.
* A thorough understanding of carrier networks is crucial.
* Familiarity with cable hauling practices and procedures is also necessary.
* You should possess knowledge of multiple Carrier Optical Fibre Networks.
* Fault diagnosis and repair expertise is essential.
* A willingness to work in Telstra exchanges is required.
* Sound computer skills are necessary for effective communication and data management.
