VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our clients' business B&D; Cabinets in Craigieburn. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with solid communication skills.
Objective
* Liaise with the manager and customers to propose solutions for their specifications needs.
* Make, repair or install furniture using solid timber, flat-panel or timber-based products and a wide range of laminates and other materials.
Job Description
* Reviewing and interpreting detailed technical drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine job requirements and production methods.
* Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber, laminates, veneers, and engineered wood products using both hand tools and machinery.
* Programming and operating equipment to ensure precision manufacturing of cabinetry and joinery components.
* Fabricating and assembling custom-built cabinets, furniture, and joinery items in accordance with design specifications.
* Installing cabinetry and joinery in residential, commercial, and fit‐out environments, including kitchens, bathrooms, and office spaces.
* Producing high-quality detailed joinery for specialised applications such as marine, caravan, or bespoke projects.
* Fitting and installing hardware including hinges, drawer systems, locks, handles, and shelving components.
* Applying surface finishes, including laminates, veneers, sealants, and protective coatings to achieve required durability and aesthetic standards.
* Conducting repairs, alterations, and refurbishment of existing cabinetry and furniture, including restoration work where required.
* Ensuring all work complies with Australian standards, workplace safety regulations, and quality control requirements.
* Coordinating with supervisors, designers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
Performance Appraisal
Three months after the starting date, then half yearly or when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum Certificate III in Australia or equivalent.
* Experience in cabinet making.
* Good knowledge of English language.
* Good hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to work individually as well as with a team.
* Ability to provide solutions according to different situations.
* Have high degree of concentration and patience.
* Great attention to details.
* Free from allergies to dust.
Compensation
Remuneration: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 + Super.
Location
58 Rushwood Drive, Craigieburn VIC 3064. Work Location: In person.
