**The Position**
St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA) are seeking to appoint a General Manager (GM) QLD for their Virtual and Home care business. This is a brand-new position created to lead an exciting new start-up venture within SVHA. The initial purpose of this role is to transition, lead and optimise the national Care Services community program. The subsequent strategic phase to follow will be about leveraging and developing new services within QLD such as Hospital, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care in the Home.
The General Manager QLD (GM) will work closely with the other state General Manager's to co-develop the St Vincent's Virtual & Home (SVVH) Model of Care (MOC) a, national service delivery model and workforce plans to ensure there is a standardised approach Australia wide. Managing a diverse community services portfolio, the GM will prioritise the growth of their people, while developing contemporary workforces and plans. The appointee will demonstrate the ability to utilise data analytics for service design, improvement and delivery, to drive efficiencies and effectiveness of care services. This is an exciting opportunity to continuously improve service delivery, with the GM translating customer value into care services and playing an integral role in building and growing a new business.
**The Organisation**
St Vincent's Virtual & Home (SVVH) is a newly created, start
- up division of St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA) which has an ambitious goal of being Australia's largest virtual care and home healthcare business. There will be one integrated virtual operating model for St Vincent's utilising capabilities of research, problem solving, data science, service delivery and continued learning.
