Construction Supervisor Job Opportunity
A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the civil infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-impact water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland and Northern Rivers NSW.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil infrastructure, particularly in water and wastewater works. You will be required to conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes, coordinate subcontractors, and manage site teams including labour and supervision.
You will work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintaining daily records, assisting with cost control, and tracking productivity are essential aspects of this role. Liaising professionally with clients and stakeholders to uphold the company's reputation is also crucial.
The Construction Supervisor role will involve ensuring WHS and environmental controls are implemented and monitored. Reviewing subcontractor scopes and managing defect rectification are also key responsibilities. Participating in lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement is an opportunity to grow and develop your skills.
About the Role

About You
* Minimum 3+ years' experience supervising water and wastewater infrastructure projects
* Demonstrates strong leadership in managing construction of treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs, and associated civil works
* Can confidently interpret and work from hydraulic, structural, and civil drawings and specifications
* Has a solid understanding of water industry standards, environmental compliance, and safety protocols
* Is proactive, quality-driven, and focused on delivering outcomes within budget and timeframes
* Communicates effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Comfortable using mobile apps and construction software (e.g., Procore) for daily reporting and coordination
