W Hotels Sydney, New South Wales, Australia is looking for a skilled Finance Officer to join our team.
About the Role
* We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent financial management skills to support our finance operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. They will be responsible for reviewing and auditing all revenue, payment and cash transactions, documenting them and preparing daily and monthly reports for management.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the pre-opening efforts of the world's largest W Hotel.
Responsibilities
* Review, audit and substantiate all revenue, payment and cash transactions
* Document transactions and prepare daily and monthly reports for management
* Conduct periodical audits across all relevant departments and positions
* Ensure controls are in compliance with W HID and Marriott LSOPs
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 2+ years of experience in finance and accounting
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
