**About the role**
To manufacture quality components from drawings and specification using raw materials issued and the machinery, hand tools available in the workshop and where required, install these and other components on site. (Australia and overseas)
**Job Tasks and responsibilities**
- Examine drawings or specifications to determine job, and equipment requirements
- Mark out materials with reference points and lines, using templates gages and other measuring instruments.
- Cut materials to sizes required
- Shape materials by bending, folding and rolling, using equipment available
- Check products or components against specifications, drawings, etc.
- Join components by methods specified on drawings or specifications to form final product.
- Ensuring that Quality Assurance Procedures and measures are complied with.
- Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety and Accident Prevention Standards set by the Company or Industry.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Ability to do site works
- Accuracy with paperwork.
- Perform other duties as requested.
**Skills and experience**
- 2+ years, in a trade related background.
- Trades Certificate, pertaining to relevant trade (if required).
- Quality Assurance.
- Desirable, knowledge of all types of manufacturing/construction including:
- Boiler-making / Welding /Assembly.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Ability to plan, schedule, control.
- Paperwork and reporting.
- Current/relevant project site certifications i.e. White Card (if site works).
**Salary**: $34.17 - $57.44 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- CANNING VALE, WA 6155: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Welding: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
