Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation (WTOAC) is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our two Traditional Owner Co-CEOs. This full-time role will work closely with our leaders as they represent and advocate for Wadawurrung People, Culture and Country.
About the Role
You will play a key part in keeping things flowing smoothly, helping the Co-CEOs balance their leadership and Cultural responsibilities, coordinating their schedules, and ensuring they are well prepared for the many priorities they carry.
This role requires someone who is organised, respectful, adaptable, and has strong communication and writing skills. You will bring your knowledge and experience in working with executives, boards and external stakeholders to ensure strategy stays on track with WTOAC's goals, while equipping our Co-CEOs with the right information and preparation before every meeting.
Key Responsibilities
• Walk alongside and support our Co-CEOs in their leadership and Cultural responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate diaries, schedules and travel
• Act as the first point of contact responding to enquiries and invitations with professionalism whilst respecting Cultural protocols
• Prepare and manage accurate records, correspondence, reports, briefings, speeches and visual presentations
• Assist with management of information between Wadawurrung Members, WTOAC staff, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Wadawurrung Members, WTOAC staff, government, and industry stakeholders
• Anticipate needs, streamline processes and ensure commitments are followed through
About You
• You will bring cultural awareness and discretion, ensuring the work of our Co-CEOs is supported in a way that honours Wadawurrung values.
• Committed to Aboriginal self-determination and cultural safety
• You are highly organised and can balance competing priorities with ease
• You build strong relationships and communicate with respect and in a culturally sensitive manner
• Have the ability to work flexibly, including some travel whilst supporting the Co-CEOs as they travel across Wadawurrung Country
• You will be confident in preparing documents, presentations, and adept in using SharePoint, OneDrive and other Microsoft platforms.
• Act with discretion, integrity, professionalism, handling sensitive information with care
• Bring 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant or similar role
