With offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, we are currently seeking a Town Planner to join our growing team in either our Brisbane or Sydney office.
This opportunity will suit a motivated planner looking to broaden their experience across a diverse range of projects, jurisdictions and approval pathways while working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will work alongside senior planning staff and the broader project team to assist in delivering successful planning and development outcomes for clients.
* Preparation and lodgement of development applications
* Preparation of development approval amendments and related planning applications
* Providing preliminary planning advice to clients and undertaking planning policy reviews
* Preparation of planning reports and supporting documentation
* Liaison with local councils, government agencies and regulatory authorities
* Assisting with the preparation of fee proposals
* Working collaboratively with internal project teams across multiple disciplines
* Maintaining knowledge of relevant planning legislation, policy and approval pathways
Skills & Experience
* Qualifications in Town Planning
* Experience preparing development applications and planning reports
* Strong written communication and technical report writing skills
* A proactive and organised approach to project delivery
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‐quality work
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Experience with planning and development approval processes in Queensland, New South Wales and/or other Australian jurisdictions, will be highly regarded.
