Your New Role And Responsibilities

The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC‑C2CS) is a mission‑critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan, prepare, execute, manage, and report on aviation operations.

* Translate operational air mission needs into system requirements and develop architecture models, ensuring interoperability and compliance with ADF standards.
* Lead system integration activities, define and manage interfaces (ICDs), and validate connectivity with joint/coalition C2 systems and tactical data links.
* Apply ASD ISM controls, support accreditation, and contribute to safety case development for mission‑critical operations.
* Develop and execute test strategies (functional, performance, resilience), maintain traceability, and ensure system readiness for operational deployment.


What You'll Bring To Make An Impact

* Proven experience in requirements analysis, architecture design, and lifecycle management for complex, mission‑critical systems.
* Knowledge of ASD ISM, PSPF, and experience supporting security accreditation in classified environments.
* Proficiency with tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, or similar for architecture and traceability.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with Defence stakeholders and technical teams.
