About the Opportunity
As our Roster Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in keeping our residential aged care service running smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the Workforce Coordinator you'll take ownership of rostering, workforce administration and payroll support, helping to ensure our teams are in there to deliver exceptional care.
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate, compliant and accessible rosters, while analysing workforce data and providing timely reporting on key rostering metrics to support informed decision‐making.
You will contribute to Uniting's person‐centred approach by supporting staff, residents, and families through efficient, professional and confidential rostering practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‐to‐day rostering for 180 staff including updates, changes and compliance
* Prepare and maintain roster reports and support payroll processes
* Collaborate with the Workforce Coordinator to ensure rosters are current and accessible
* Respond to internal and external enquiries, including staff and residents' families
* Organise meetings, training sessions and take minutes as required
* Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Ensure confidentiality, privacy and compliance with Uniting policies and legislation
* Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications
Typically, this role requires a Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent rostering experience.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in rostering for 100+ staff (essential)
* Experience supporting payroll and workforce reporting
* Strong computer skills with systems such as CRM, rostering software and Work Smart Dynamics highly regarded
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Well‐developed organisational and time‐management skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Office suite
* Ability to problem‐solve, negotiate and manage competing priorities
